The GIS is short for gas insulated metal-enclosed switchgear,it is the key equipment of the power system,in the event of failure will have significant influence and loss.Aiming at the typical partial discharge of GIS equipment common defects,partial discharge detection method is introduced and compared,and analyzed the typical defects of GIS map and failure criterion,finally are discussed with practical examples,the GIS partial discharge detection and fault processing has a certain reference value.
