In this article, the author describes the construction principle of the cover down excavation, combines with the co-mplete engineering of metro project, bases on the actual cons-truction conditions, ground transportation, and the determinati-on of reasonable construction technology, solve the existing pr-oblems of the construction in the subway station, and accor-ding to the practices application of metro cover excavation, su-ms up construction method to form a weak rock tunnel.
