　　美国的教育制度与世界上大多数国家的教育制度有所不同，地方学区独立地管理教育是美国的一大特色，这是由美国的特殊历史造成的。地方学区管理教育使各个地方的教育政策、课程体系等都存在着很大的不同。近年来，中国不断加大在美国推广汉语的工作，但由于教育制度的不同，汉语推广遇到了许多难题。本文主要梳理了美国学区制度的历史及特点，并对美国的汉语推广工作提出了有益的建议。

The education systems of United States are different from most other countries of the world. Throughout most of the U-nited States, public school policy management is assigned to in-dependent, local school districts. This is a result of the American history. There are many differences between different school dis-tricts in education policy, curriculum system and other relevant aspects. In recent years, China scaling up efforts to promoting Chinese language education in the United States, but, since the differences of the two countries' education system, it faced a number of problems. This paper combed the history and the characteristics of American education system and made some recommendations.
