The more the generator capacity, the larger the outside dimension and the more complex structure of the generator. Measurement of certain components was hard to be achieved with the conventional measurement means and methods. In order to ensure the manufacture of the genera-tors to meet the design requirements, the three-dimensional technology was applied into the generator manufacturing.
