Realization method of the initial position location of the synchronous motor’s rotor by MATLAB was introduced. A test platform used to verify this method was established and the RTW (Real-time Workshop) of MAT-LAB software was applied to convert this calculation meth-od into the operational code capable to operate on the DSP chip, so as to get the tested wave. The tested result proved the correctness and reliability of this calculation method.
