　　玛祖卡是肖邦独特的创作领域，从体裁上讲，大体可分为两种类型：一种是以活泼、欢乐的色彩为体裁，节奏变化丰富，并有着浓郁的乡土气息，并常有不断反复的短小乐句，陪衬着低音部连续空五度的和声（模仿民间乐器），有一种特别的清新感。另一种则有较多的城市气息渗入，略带浪漫主义的感伤情调，表情细腻，旋律与和声的处理都比较精致，有时使用半音来进行丰富的调性变化和复调手法，在感情上比较接近于市民阶层多愁善感的音乐。

Mazurka is Chopin's unique field of creation. It can be roughly divided into two musical forms. One is lively and funny with varied tempos and strong local features. Its genre is the constant repetition of short phrases coupled with bass harmonies characterized by continuous la quints (imitation of folk instruments), which delivers a special feeling of freshness. The other one is penetrated by urban elements with slightly romantic sentiment, delicate expression, sophisticatedly modified melody and harmony. Sometimes, there are rich chromatic tonal changes and polyphonic techniques, which on the emotional level, share relative similarity with the sentimental music enjoyed by the mass.
