With the rapid development of information technology, the educational function of the internet has been increasingly enhanced. This has brought new opportunities for the ideological and political education in post-secondary institutions. However, the double-edged nature of internet education has posed many challenges to the latter. It is thus important for college counselors to study effective ways of using internet to innovate and strengthen the ideological and political education in post-secondary institutions.
