This paper introduced the principle ,structure and property of three ring reducer .Based on the property of drive system of spiral welded pipe production line ,the three ring reducer was chosen as the main driving mechanism of spiral welded pipe production line ,to improve the stability and reliability of the equipment to get high quality product .
