This article introduces the generating mechanism of the black spot defects on cold rolling steel strip, and points out the factors of its formation. By the measures of improving the inlet of the air knife and the structure of oil removal roll, controlling the machine oil leakage, adding injection beam on the middle roll and so on. Taishan Steel has successful rated the black spot defects on cold rolling steel strip from 1.69%to 0.15%.
