The generation of an EFL text involves a complex pro-cess of semantic integrating and information encoding. To guar-antee the grammaticality, acceptability and appropriateness of a target text, the coder should monitor the selection of words and expressions, the content and meanings together with their gram-matical functions and marks based on the meta-cognitive analy-sis and experience of their own English language competence, the target situation and the possible strategies.
