With a systematic analysis and study on examination and evaluation methods and application requirements for economical operation of hydropower stations , particularly the efficiency of infrastructure management , hydrological fore-casting , flood control scheduling and power generation scheduling , an examination system for hydropower economics is designed .Detailed description and analysis of the system is given , including the application requirements , calculation methods, design principles , design of data interfaces and specific features , etc.The system could be a useful support platform for hydropower stations and control centers for examination and evaluation of their operation economics , and fa-cilitate their safe and economic operations .
