针对传统设备配置软件在通用性和可扩展性方面的不足，提出了基于设备描述的设备配置模型。该模型的设备配置器独立于配置软件，利用XML分别描述了设备配置信息和配置数据信息，利用XAML描述了配置界面信息。相比传统的代码编写模式，纯文本的配置器降低了软件开发难度。同时，该模型利用抽象层实现设备配置器实例与设备配置软件解耦，达到设备支持包与设备配置软件同步开发的目的。该模型应用到设备配置软件开发中，结果表明：对提高软件组件的重用性、缩短开发周期有显著作用。

In view of the traditional device configuration software ’ s shortcoming in versatility and expandabili-ty , the device configuration model based on the device description was proposed .The configurator in this mod-el is independent of the software , and XML employed can describe both device and configuration data and XAML describes configuration interface .Compared with the traditional software architecture , the text files-only configurator can reduce the difficulty in software development .Through the abstraction layer , both device con-figurator and configuration software realized can support simultaneous development of the package and configu -ration software .Applying this model to developing device configuration software proves its reusability and effi -ciency in improving software components and shortening development cycle .
