The evaluation and analysis on the slope stability is the important job in the construction of valley-shaped tailings reservoir.This paper introduced the factors such as stratum , texture, underground water,seismic force and slope angle etc.which influencing the slope stability , and analyzed each factor mechanism and effect which influencing the slope stability .Meanwhile, using the actual projects as ex-ample, the slope safety coefficients under each factor influence were calculated by means of two -dimen-sional slope stability calculation software , and the sensitivity of slope stability to influencing factors is an-alyzed and calculated, so the main influencing factors are determined , and it provids the reliable refer-ence for reasonable construction.
