This paper summarized the defects of waste heat recovery unit from coke oven waste gas flue at the initial stage after commissioning and proposed some measures such as by increasing holes and cross section of pipes to reduce system resistance ,by using VVVF to increase suction of common waste gas flue and by adding additional motorized flap valve to cut off waste gas circulation ,etc.so that the waste gas heat recovery unit can reach up to designed target .
