The problems in commissioning of Datang’s 28000 m3/h air separator are in-troduced briefly. The problems include leakage of the up tower safety valve, leakage of liquid nitrogen pump outlet safety that causes decrease of the main condenser liquid level, inaccurate measurement of air cooling tower and water cooling tower liquid level. The reconstruction pro-ject of liquid nitrogen pump sealing gas pipeline is presented. At the same time, the problems that should be paid attention to in cold state preparation for the air separator and the quick starting method for cold state preparation of the air separator are also described.
