新生代农民工在城市发展中的奉献及作用日趋增大。然而，由于自身文化程度不高，新生代农民工融入城市出现了诸多困难，因此新生代农民工就应当有着比其父辈更为强烈的教育诉求。从新生代农民工继续教育的学习意识、学习目的、学习内容、学习方式、学习经费五个方面进行剖析，并提出解决新生代农民工继续教育诉求问题的对策及建议，提高农民工的素质和融入城市的能力。
