This paper introduces special tectonic construction method of mudstone engineering excavation of Xinjiang Xiao-shankou secondary hydroelectric station engineering, and ana-lyzes the advantages of this construction method from the con-struction quality, construction schedule, construction safety an-d construction cost control four aspects, proposes the construc-tion in our country mudstone area construction project would get the promotion and application.
