　　通过对本补木区地质资料和煤质化验成果分析，阐述了煤质基本特征，初步分析认为本区的煤层由浅入深随着煤层埋深增加，变质程度也逐步增大的希尔特定律。煤类变化规律是：在地质剖面上呈现垂直分带现象，上部煤层较下部煤层变质程度低。从煤类上本区主要煤类为焦煤。
