物联网技术被认为是继计算机、互联网与移动通信网之后的又一个信息产业热点，有专家预测10年内物联网可能会大规模普及，物联网将是下一个万亿级的信息服务业务，它将引发零售业第四次革命，在仓储管理、智能自动化、产品应用等方面，物联网已经让大型连锁零售业率先一步感受到新技术带来的利润增长，在此背景下，文章探讨了中小型连锁零售业在运用物联网技术方面所面临的困难，并给出了相应的建议。

Internet of things is considered as another hotspot of information industry following computer, Internet and mobile communication network. Experts predict that there could be massive popularity of Internet of things in 10 years. Internet of things will be the next trillion-class information service business, and it will lead to the fourth revolution of retail industry. In terms of storage management, intelligent automation and product applications, Internet of things has brought profit growth to large retail chain industry. In this context, the article discusses the difficulties facing small and medium sized retail chain in use of Internet of things, and gives corresponding recommendations.
