Three kinds of CO2 capture technologies, including pre-combustion capture technology, post-combustion capture technology and oxy-fuel capture technology, were comprehensively investigated.Through comparing a variety of CO2 capture technologies the advantages and disadvantages and the scope of application of various technologies were discussed. Furthermore, survey of research works of CO2 capture and a number of demonstration projects were conducted. The current status, potential barriers and future trends of CO2 capture technology in power industry of China were further discussed.
