缅甸马达班湾盆地位于油气富集的弧后走滑拉张盆地构造位置,寻找有利储层成为该区油气勘探取得成功的关键。运用岩石薄片等岩矿分析技术对缅甸马达班湾盆地某区块上新统砂岩储层岩石矿物特征、成岩作用进行了分析和研究,认为研究区砂岩储层岩石类型主要为长石石英砂岩、岩屑石英砂岩,多为中等成熟,总体上,压实作用、胶结作用和溶解作用对储层储集物性的影响均较小,工区南部主要为压实作用影响了储集层储积物性,因整体上破坏成岩作用对孔隙度减少的影响程度较小,故该区上新统具备形成油气储层的有利条件。

Moattama Bay basin of Burma is located in back-arc strike-slip and extension basin, which is known as oil and gas en-richment. Accordingly, looking for favorable reservoir becomes the key to successfully exploring gas and oil. By using rock mineral analytic technique of rock slice, rock mineral characteristics and diagenesis of Pliocene sandstone reservoir were analyzed and re-searched in some block of Moattama Bay basin of Burma. The result shows that feldspathic quartz sandstone and lithic quartz sand-stone are dominant rock types of sandstone reservoir in study area, and most of them are moderate maturity. As a whole, compac-tion, cementation and dissolution have little effects on reservoir properties. In the southern work area, compaction mainly affects reservoir properties. For diagenesis destruction having less influences on porosity reduction in this area, Pliocene sandstone reser-voir possess advantages of the oil and gas reservoir formation.
