Throughout the development of the entire national economy, Electricity, electric power plays an irreplaceable important influence. Electricity is the main power of modern industrial production, people's life and the normal operation of enterprises and institutions, is the foundation of material technology, which is indispensable to the processing modern civilization. In order to ensure the safety of people's life and property and reliable power supply during the runtime of production and operation, we should set up lightning protection according to the actual situation. In this paper, we explore and analyse the purpose of the 220V power distribution system grounding, working principle, the scheme of the lightning protection and operation maintenance.
