Due to the good physical and chemical properties and tumor targeting ability, hyaluronic acid (HA) has been used as drug carriers or targeting ligand in the novel drug delivery system for cancer therapy, and become the new hot point in the field of cancer therapy. This review mainly introduced the application of HA in the novel drug delivery system.
