Composition and principle of Bulb Tubular hydro -generator units combined with excitation system are introduced in this paper.Based on the analysis of temperature phenomenon in the excitation transformer operation of Xixi Power Station , which is the water supply hub in Chaozhou , Guangdong Province , cooling transformation measures are put forward .And good results are a-chieved in tests .It has provided relevant experience for excitation varying and cooling temperature transformation of similar hydro -generator units and enterprises that produce excitation transformer .
