云南某铁矿老尾矿中含铁28.28%,主要以褐铁矿和赤铁矿形式存在,嵌布粒度较细,且部分褐铁矿和赤铁矿是以碎屑的形式存在,被铁浸染的白云石和方解石等碳酸盐矿物充填在碎屑之间,极易影响铁品位。为了回收该老尾矿中的铁,在大量试验基础上,最终确定了“强磁粗选-中矿细磨-强磁分离”的选铁工艺流程,获得了铁品位为62.52%,铁回收率为39.42%的铁精矿1和铁品位为58.95%,铁回收率为17.49%的铁精矿2,总铁回收率为56.91%,较好的实现了该老尾矿中铁的选矿回收利用。

An old tailings in Yunnan province contains 28 .28% Fe ,and hematite and limonite are the major iron minerals .Since the hematite and limonite grains are finely disseminated and some fill in or replace the holes of dolomite ,calcite and other carbonates in the forms of fragment ,it is hard to obtain qualified iron products .To recover the iron minerals ,based on a large amount of tests ,a process of “high intensity magnetic roughing- regrinding - high intensity magnetic cleaning” has been introduced .The result shows that an iron concentrate 1 assaying 62 .52% Fe with a recovery of 39 .42% and an iron concentrates 2 assaying 58 .95% Fe with a recovery of 17 .49% could be obtained ,respectively ,and the total recovery of iron could reach 56 .91% ,which indicates a satisfying industrial production process .
