microRNA 广泛存在于单细胞和多细胞的真核生物中，并在真核基因表达调控中有着重要的作用，它对信号传导、细胞代谢和凋亡、肌细胞生成、病毒感染和癌症等方面影响显著，因此受到了越来越多的关注。论文对 microRNA 分子及其对动物肌肉发育和脂质代谢的调控以及在一些动物疾病中的作用等研究进展进行综述，为今后动物 microRNA 的研究提供参考。

microRNA widely exist in both unicellular and multicellular eukaryotes,and play an important role in the regulation of eukaryotic gene expression.The great effects have been discovered in the signaling pathways,cell metabolism and apoptosis,muscle cell production,virus infection and cancer etc.So it has aroused more and more attention.This paper reviewed the progress on microRNA molecules and its regu-lation to animal muscle development and lipid metabolism,and role in some animal diseases ,so as to pro-vide theoretical basis for microRNA research in animals.
