In this article, we have mainly analyzed the reasons for the growth of positive plates with expanded grids, put forward a measure to inhibit growth of plates through adding EVA on the top of plate groups, and test the battery added EVA. The test results demonstrated that the measure of adding EVA had an obvious effect on inhibiting growth of plates.
