This paper reviews the abnormal corrosion of positive grids with lead calcium alloys, and some related research works by the scholars both at home and abroad are summarized. The corrosion resistance of grids is discussed in terms of the recipe of the alloy, the production process of grids and battery formation process. Moreover, a comprehensive exposition is given about how to keep the grids from the abnormal corrosion.
