Weld deformation is very common during welding process,sometimes with weld crack occurring in serious conditions.The paper introduces a remedy solution for the complex large-scale high-strength steel weld box-shaped structure with cracking and deformation in case of improper weld.The box-shaped structure is the load-carrying part in the large-scale float crane.The practice indicates feasibility of such method.
