As environmental pollution and resource waste becoming increasingly obvious, the importance of the new energy has been more and more apparent. For renewable energy, energy storage system plays an important role. It can not only solve the unstable characteristics of new energy power generation, but also store the additional power. This paper introduces the application status of different energy storage system, and gives the prospect of energy storage technology.
