元代旴江著名医学家危亦林，曾随我国最早的喉科医家范叔清学习喉科，撰成我国最早的喉科专卷《世医得效方·卷第十七·口齿兼咽喉科》。危氏喉科临证辨治独特，首创咽喉18种喉风证，创导咽喉口腔的患部针刺（喉针）、吹药（喉药）、小竹管吹药（喉枪）等特色疗法，反映了其针药结合、内外兼治的临证独特风格，至今对临床仍有着重要的指导意义。
