Study has been done, for instance, on castings of valve casing pipe ifttings for a million kilowatts ultra supercritical steam turbine researched and developed at home.With analysis of material weldability, groove design and welding method test, the quality of pipes welding and castings has been both properly controlled to meet the technical requirements with acceptance check.
