Multi-stage mold by four copper plates with spring compression arrangement reinforced supporting and protecting to thin shell at mold exit, and corner spraying increased corner cooling intensity and shell thickness of billet.It avoided billet rhomboidity and efifciently decreased corner crack breakout, and the casting speed of caster increased by 20%of casting speed of foot roll structure caster, and improved operation rate of caster and billet quality.
