In this paper the greening design for Hesheng Highway in Inner Mongolia was carried out in which solutions including adjusting measures to different site types and local conditions, matching species with sites and adopting relevant greening modes were put forward. Ways for highway greening in semi-arid regions were explored to provide technical reference for highway greening in semi-arid regions.
