周围神经病变的诊断和预后评估一直是困扰临床的难题，目前常用的检查方法有临床查体、肌电图、超声等，但这些方法缺乏对病变定位及定性的准确性，并且有些方法（如肌电图）还会给病人带来痛苦。近年来随着磁共振神经成像（MRN）技术在临床上的应用越来越多，其对周围神经病变的评价研究也愈加受到关注。就上肢周围神经MRN检查方法、正常和常见疾病的MRN表现以及新型周围神经MR对比剂等内容予以综述。

The diagnosis and prediction of outcome of peripheral nerve diseases is still a challenge. Currently, the examination methods of peripheral nerves include physical examinations, electromyography, and ultrasound. However, the methods mentioned above could not provide an accurate diagnosis of the diseases of peripheral nerves. Meanwhile, some examinations can cause pain to patients, such as electromyography. In the resent years, magnetic resonance neurography (MRN) has been increasingly used in the evaluation of peripheral nerve diseases. It can evalaute the diseases accurately and objectively. MRN is worthy to widely used due to its high resolution. The MRN examination sequences, MRN manifestation of the normal performance and of the common diseases, the new type MR contrast agents for the peripheral nerves of upper limbs were reviewed in this paper.
