The vehicle manufacturing process generally consist of pressing, welding, painting and assem-bling process. The energy saving technical measures in above four production processes and their energy sav-ing benefits were analyzed in a vehicle manufacturing enterprise. There were some benefit-significant mea-sures, such as building RTO furnaces to treat exhaust gas and reclaim thermal energy in the painting work-shop, cyclic utilization of air-conditioning supply air to robot-automatic painting zone in the colored paint painting room, 1120 t and 734 t standard coal can be saved every year, respectively. After technical mea-sures being carried out, energy consumption for per unit product of vehicle dropped to 117.9 kgce, reached the advanced energy consumption value for vehicle production industry.
