This paper mainly combines the geological characteristics of Mengxinan District with the example of Changcheng Mine Five,ansysing some water prevention and control technology include freezing method, grouting method, water exploration when the shaft crossing water-bearing stratum. In order to provide reference for the prevention and control of shaft water construction which has similar conditions in western region.
