The five day biochemical oxygen demand was a table of indirect representation content of organic matter in water, which was an important parameter in water quality monitoring.The preservation of water samples , dissolved oxygen , biochemical oxygen demand 25 factors affecting the success of the measurement of pH , temperature , diluted with water and diluted inoculation degree were explored and appropriate solutions were proposed.
