“Wangshan” is one of the components of the ancient sight. lt served a same purpose to the rear sight of modern rifles and machine guns. As a result of paraphrase, “biaochi”( rear sight ) is more accurate and connotational than word-for-word translation. Paraphrase always has the advantages of the translation of the foreign terminology through contrast on ancient terminology and modern terminology.
