According to the characteristics of physical chemistry and the requirements of the engineering student , the teaching reform included reducing the teaching content , avoiding the complex calculation formula , and mainly dealing with the basic principle and application .Based on the relationship between the physical chemistry and other subjects , the discuss section about academic problems was increased , aiming at the developing cultivation of independent learning ability and ability of literature search .It was useful to improve the quality and effect of classroom teaching by teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and mobilizing their learning initiative .
