The protein content of soybean seed is mainly determined by the genetic characteristics of varieties, and is also influenced by the ecological environment and cultivation practices. This paper reviews the recent progress of influencing factors on soybean protein formation and accumulation from the aspects of variety, ecological environment and cultivation practices.
