目的：了解南江县农村家庭主妇碘缺乏病 KAP 现状及需求，为制定适宜的健康教育措施提供依据。方法按照随机抽样原则抽取家庭主妇300人，入户以问卷方式进行相关调查。结果碘缺乏病相关知识知晓率为69．00％，正确信念与态度持有率为91．50％，相关行为行为正确率为75．89％，相关知识主要（65．67％）是通过医生获得，知识获得愿望以知识讲座为主，碘盐覆盖率为100．00％。结论需有针对性地常态化开展碘缺乏病健康教育活动，有效提高广大群众防病意识，才能持续实现消除碘缺乏病的目标。
