原癌基因PAX2是PAX 基因家族中的一员，在很多原发肿瘤和泌尿生殖系统肿瘤中呈过表达，对癌细胞生长和存活有着很大的帮助。在女性生殖系统肿瘤中如子宫颈腺癌、子宫内膜癌、卵巢癌，P A X2的表达具有各自的特点及差异，并在一定程度上提示不同的预后。了解P A X2在女性生殖系统肿瘤中的表达，有助于判断肿瘤的起源、区别肿瘤的良恶性、预测肿瘤的侵袭力及淋巴结转移，辅助临床进行肿瘤分期及预后判读，从而更恰当的选择手术范围及术后治疗方案。

Proto-oncogene --PAX2 is one member of the Pax gene couples . It over-expresses in many primary tumors or the tumors of urogenital system and dose a great favor to the survival and the development of tumors. In the tumors of female reproductive system, such as cervical adenocarcinoma, endometrium carcinoma and ovarian carcinoma, the expression of PAX2 has several features and differentials,and can suppose different prognoses on a certain extent. Understanding the expression of PAX2 in tumors of female reproductive system can help us to judge the origin ,distinguish the benign and malignant, calculate the invasiveness and transfer of lymph glad. It also can help the clinic to interpret the neoplasm staging and the prognoses, and then they can choose the most proper operative extent and treatment method after the operation.
