生态安全是关乎国计民生的大事，它与国家农业安全及“三农”建设息息相关。通过阐述生态安全、农业安全及“三农”建设的内涵，在总结生态安全与农业安全及“三农”建设关系的基础上，提出有关中国生态安全与农业安全发展的思考与建议，指出中国农业生产面临的发展机遇和主要挑战，最后论述我国新时期现代农业发展的战略选择。

Ecological security is closely associated not only with people’ s livelihood,but with national ag-ricultural safety and the construction of“Sannong”( three aspects of agriculture,namely,agriculture,rural areas and farmers) .This paper explores the connotation of ecological security,agricultural safety and“Sannong”con-struction.Based on the relations between the three,the paper puts forward the thinkings and suggestions on Chi -na’s ecological safety and agriculture safety,points out the major challenges and opportunities that China’s ag-ricultural production is facing,and proposes the strategic choice for the development of modern agriculture dur-ing the new period of the nation.
