The magnetic intensity caused by direct lightning stroke on buildings or neighbors is estimated according to data from the lightning detection network, thus obtaining the attenuation value of magnetic intensity within a range of 1 to 5m around down-conductor system and estimating the width of a shielding grid installed on an electronic information system room.
