Protein is important indicator of evaluation of milk powder. In this paper, it is discussed the detection method of protein in milk powder, the common detection methods included Kiel Dahl method, Bradford method, NIR spectroscopy and so on. The principle, advantages and disadvantages are introduced. These investigations will provide a theoretical reference for improving and developing methods of protein detection in milk powder.
