It is found that the characteristics of open point can be freely moved continuously whileλ/4 transmission lines with terminal short circuit is connected in parallel into main circuit. The correctness of this characteristic is analyzed and demonstrated. The above characteristic can be used in DC bias circuit of the active microwave circuits to improve its property. An example of 8. 5GHz small signal linear amplifier by employing this DC bias circuit is in-troduced, whose circuit simulation is performed. The simulated results before and after connecting this DC bias cir-cuit are compared. The results show that this design method is most suitable for dot frequency and narrow band matching circuit. It is also valuable for reference in design wider frequency band circuit.
