The space-based infrared system(SBIRS)is the most advanced space-based early warning system, and also in the midst of developing and perfecting constantly. The paper mainly studies the HEO (highly elliptical orbit), explores the modeling and simulation aiming at the coverage characteristic and the detecting capability, and analyses the work performance on orbit.
