现代社会对科学技术的需求推动大学主动承担科学研究职责,学者对大学职能演变的现代阐释和政府对大学科研投入的持续增大使大学教师逐渐选择科学研究。然而,现代大学甚少做到科教有机结合,两者的游离现象日益突出:管理与评价过程追求科研产出,忽视教学质量;教师意在项目获取与研究,轻视学生教学;讲授内容非研究内容,“科”与“教”不一致。科教融合是大学本质、办学目的及育人形式的内在逻辑要求,是大学回归本真、修订目标、创新育人方式的必然取向。促进现代大学实现科教融合,政府应资助大学进行基础研究,让大学成为社会发展的智力源;大学应注重教书育人质量评价,引导教师把科研成果融入教学;教师应充分将科研与教学统一,追求“学术育人”的最佳境界。

The demand for science and technology in modern society promotes university to undertake the duties of research. The faculties view of the university's functions and the government's increasing investment in university research have resulted in university teachers' engagement in the scientific research. However, the integration of research and teaching is hard to achieve in current universities, dissociation of the two is very common and serious: the management and evaluation pursue research output and do not take much count of the quality of teaching, teachers pay attention to research projects and overlook teaching, research and teaching are inconsistent. The integration of research and teaching is an internal logic required in university essence, purpose and its culture. It is an inevitable behavior orientation for modern university returning to its real mission, revising objectives and innovating way of educating students. To promote the integration of research and teaching in current universities, the government should fund primarily universities in their basic research and make universities a source of intellectual for social development. The university should pay particular attention to teaching quality evaluation and guide teachers in teaching by means of research results. The teachers should fully integrate research and teaching and pursuit a best state via academic education.
