Assessment of the comprehensive value of the demand response resources is beneficial to the implementing agency in grasping the implementation effect of demand proj ect and to the participants in learning about their input and returns.System dynamics provides a more systematic method,better dynamics and more distinct causal feedback relations for comprehensive benefits evaluation of the demand response.After defining the participants and implementation costs and benefits of the demand response and the effect of external returns,attention is focused on access to renewable energy and electric vehicles.Then an elaborate simulation model containing price-based and incentive-based programs is developed.The rationality and effectiveness of the model is verified by simulation.All participants benefit from demand response programs and interact with each other. External benefits internalized help promote comprehensive performance of the demand response.
